For public areas of hotels, or for Business Centres

A kiosk is normally sited in a high-traffic public area, for example in the lounge or in reception.

The kiosk can be positioned on a normal-height desk (as shown above), or on a coffee table, or it may be wall-mounted or free standing.

If you prefer not to use your own furniture, we can make wood-veneered desks or wall-mounts to your design in one of 18 different shades, to match precisely your hotel's existing style and decor.

Kiosks

Good-looking, space-saving, and practical

Our guest Internet kiosks integrate sympathetically with your hotel’s decor.

We don’t have a ‘standard’ product – each kiosk is individually designed to suit the furnishings of your lounge or business centre, and your hotel is therefore not made to look like a PC superstore.

The kiosk software is completely branded to your hotel or group, and in most hotels offers a complementary means of accessing the Internet in addition to the existing wired and wireless facilities.

Our kiosk comes in two versions:

Internet Browser
For web browsing and web-based email, this type of kiosk is very small and unobtrusive, and can be made to fit where space is at a premium.

Business Centre
This variant of the kiosk also has Office applications and a printer, for a more fully-featured Business Centre application.

It is important to understand that a kiosk does not duplicate or compete with any existing wired or wireless internet provision you may already be making for your guests – an Internet kiosk ensures that you can offer a service to guests do not carry their own PCs with them. Indeed, the addition of a kiosk can have a positive effect on the level of wireless uptake, since the kiosk screensaver can be used to advertise the availability of the wireless service.
